The Never Ending Cycle - Yeast

An Illustration:

1. Illness: Your dog is not feeling well, so we go to the vet.
and part of the treatment may include antibiotics.

2. Antibiotics kills bacteria - bad and good bacteria of the gut
Good bacteria is called intestinal "flora"

3. Absences of good flora = allows yeast/fungus overgrowth

4. Yeast/fungus overgrowth destroys mucous lining of the gut
causing "leaky gut" syndrome.

5. Leaky gut allows toxins to enter the blood stream

6. Effects of Leaky Gut Syndrome - caused by yeast/fungus over growth

itchy skin:

  • redness, inflammation and odor in ears
  • between toes, face, genital/vaginal area

disruption in pH balance of the gut

  • gastrointestinal tract problems
  • bloating
  • gas

lethargy, depression, fatigue - animals and humans

  • chronic fatigue syndrome (humans)
  • fibromyalgia (humans)
  • inadequate absorption of nutrients
  • suppressed immune system
  • diabetes
  • arthritis
  • other

7. These illnesses are then treated with antibiotics, which
in turn, kill off more intestinal flora and encourages and environment
of yeast/fungus overgrowth and we start the cycle all over again.

To correct the problem see the Feed Program of Systemic Yeast problems.
